Good Soil Production + Management LLC is dedicated to amplifying and supporting Black artists, as well as voices that have historically diverged from established norms. We collaborate with artists and produce theatrical shows that embrace eclecticism and unconventionality, providing a platform for each artist's unique voice.
Centering the Black voice and cultural aesthetic, we encourage interactions with diverse cultural influences. While many of our artists have backgrounds in Western Classical and Opera, their varied experiences contribute to a broader artistic landscape. Our initiatives challenge standardized repertoires, showcasing artists and productions that defy convention.
At Good Soil, we are committed to cultivating a more expansive and dynamic artistic landscape. By elevating artists who infuse their lived experiences and cultural perspectives, we aim to create a platform that breathes life into a rich tapestry of creativity and expression.
Good Soil Production + Management LLC aims to ensure a diverse representation of artists from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and perspectives both on the stage and behind the scenes. We work to identify, nurture, and promote emerging artists by providing platforms, mentorships and growth opportunities. Good Soil works to prioritize the well-being of artists and ensure they have professional development opportunities and fair compensation for their work. Most importantly we work to create and produce original, innovative, and thought-provoking performances and theatrical opportunities that challenge established norms and captivate audiences. With the goal of expanding and diversifying the audience base through targeted marketing, community engagement, and initiatives that make live theater more accessible and appealing to demographics that have been traditionally underserved.
