Project Support Grant - Printmaking & Photography

The Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design Galleries opened in 1970 and expanded to two spaces in 1995. The gallery supports the curriculum of the School of Art & Design and serves the entire GSU student body, including Perimeter College campuses. The gallery’s professionally curated exhibitions feature work by local, regional, national, and international artists, as well as by Georgia State students, faculty, and alumni and all programs are free and open to the public.

A&E funding will support "Ten Years Out of Hand" which features the works of ten artists previously showcased in The Hand magazine, emphasizing the significance of printmaking and photography in Atlanta's art scene. Editors James Meara and Adam Finkelston are jurors for the call for entry and will participate in a panel discussion.
