Project Support - Outdoor Exhibition

elsewhere is an experimental art concept lead by Atlanta-born curator, Anna Akpele. elsewhere, seeks to foster a symbiotic relationship between artist and curator, working together to bring forth relevant exhibitions that educate and inspire. providing an outlet for artists to be free and explore without limitations.

A&E funding will support the exhibition titled ‘Buttermilk Bottom, which pays homage to the past and the existing downtown community. Utilizing photographs (both new and archival), video, and sound, photographer Michael Grant would create a body of work that would be showcased near the Civic Center redevelopment site in the form of a projection and outdoor installation.

elsewhere programming is organic and ever changing because at the end of the day, so is art.
