ifCON 2009 Atlanta - Celebrating iCON 2009 and International Friendship Weekend (ifCON) - Asians & Friends Atlanta, LYC has been selected to jointly host the Long Yang Club International iCON 2009 annual conference and the International Friendship Alliance International Friendship Weekend 2009. ifCON brings together groups like ours from around the world. The site of the conference moves from year to year, with iCON 2008 being held in Berlin, Germany. Hosting a conference of this size is a major undertaking and we are counting on our members for help. If you can volunteer, have a fund raising idea or want to make a donation, please contact the ifCON committee at ifCON@ifCON.org.

Fair question. As a member of Asians and Friends Atlanta, LYC Inc., you deserve an answer.
Let us toss these out, for your kind consideration.
- Reduced rates for local members who wish to participate in ifCON events
- Free seminars and meetings for local members during ifCON weekend
- An exculsive post-event party for ifCON volunteers
- An opportunity for Asians and Friends Atlanta, LYC Inc. to turn a profit, benefitting all A&F members
- A long weekend of events, including a Thursday night reception and Monday pool party, both free to local members
- Special social events leading up to ifCON, such as the Toga Party and Stripping for ifCON Fundraiser. Remember, these special events are above and beyond the usual A&F events. A&F events continue to be free, except for the annual Pageant.
- A donation bar at all A&F parties, except for those where drinks are supplied by the host. Party goers who do not wish to bring their own drinks can be assured that there will be plenty of liquid refreshment on hand for a small donation. Others who wish to bring their own drink for themselves or others are welcome to do so
